Clone Enchantment Guide
⚠️ Exponential Scaling Mechanic
Clone is one of the most powerful enchantments in Slay the Spire 2, capable of creating 100+ copies of a single card through exponential duplication.
What is Clone?
Clone is an enchantment in Slay the Spire 2 that allows you to duplicate cards at Rest Sites. Unlike normal card duplication, Clone scales exponentially rather than additively.
When you duplicate a card with Clone at a Rest Site, it creates copies of all existing cards with that enchantment in your deck, not just one copy.
How to Get Clone
Pael the Melting Dragon
Pael is an Ancient that appears at the beginning of Act 2 in Slay the Spire 2.
Choice: "Pael's Growth"
When you interact with Pael, select "Pael's Growth" to enchant a chosen card with the Clone property.
How Clone Works
Step 1: Enchant a Card
Choose a powerful card from your deck to receive the Clone enchantment from Pael.
Step 2: Visit Rest Sites
At each Rest Site, you can choose to duplicate your Clone-enchanted card.
Exponential Growth Example:
- • Rest Site 1: 1 card → 2 cards
- • Rest Site 2: 2 cards → 4 cards
- • Rest Site 3: 4 cards → 8 cards
- • Rest Site 4: 8 cards → 16 cards
- • Rest Site 5: 16 cards → 32 cards
- • Rest Site 6: 32 cards → 64 cards
- • Rest Site 7: 64 cards → 128 cards
Step 3: Dominate Combats
With 100+ copies of a powerful card, you can defeat bosses in a single turn.
Best Cards to Clone
Adrenaline (Silent)
Provides energy and card draw. 128 copies = infinite energy and draw.
High-Damage Attacks
Any attack card becomes lethal with exponential copies.
0-Cost Cards
Free cards that can be played infinitely in one turn.
